This story has intrigue, spies, adventure, friendship, suistainable and earth friendly sci-fi technology, war, modern and holistic medicine and,of course, love. The story started a little slow but kept my attention and latter became more interesting.Two couples fall in love, the story focuses on Lysette and Katar and the other couple's story (Kendra and Cap) is narrated in the second part. Katar is a prince who does not wants to marry. He mets Lysette and falls in love with her, changing his mind and ideas about marriage. His ex lover pairs with one of Lysette's suitors and they create difficulties between them. Then a villain kidnaps Lysette and Katar strives to rescue her. I understand that the first time Lysette is hurt by the lies spread by the ex-lover and the suitor but, being such a strong woman, she falls short when she believes lies spread later.
I enjoyed reading this book, the author does an excellent work weaving the stories and events. There are some spelling and grammar errors, in some instances there were discontinuities which were confusing. I gave 4 stars because of this and because the heroine showed weakness and unreasonable thinking before the end. I don't understand how an intelligent, strong willed and confident woman as Lysette could believe the lies spread by her captor. I felt sorry for Katar, he truly loves her to keep up with her attitude.

Story is excellent and I would love to have given this 4 or 5 stars. However, insufficient punctuation and grammatical errors detract from a good book--a good story dragged down by a lack of proofreading. It is obvious that a spell check was done as its proofread; there are virtually no spelling errors. When you are re-reading sentences twice, so the brain can correct the errors and extract the meaning, the story becomes tiresome and detracts from a book with a unique plot and good character development. Even the storyline would benefit/tighten up with good proofreading. Please get someone to proofread this story to reduce the number of errors--it deserves a much better rating than I can give it at this time!!!

Good plots, don't get bogged down into so much descriptive paragraphs that you forget what you are reading and have to read over. Strong characters.
So this is a good read but definitely very up and down. Not exactly the romance I was told but a good deep read. Lots of depth
